This year, Explorer introduces the all-new XLT Sport Appearance Package featuring Carbonized Gray-painted 20" aluminum wheels and exterior accents to create an added layer of style. The interior will be treated with light to medium shades of slate tones, including ActiveX Seating Material with contrast stitching. Limited models and above now feature high-gloss black interior finishes on the center stack, along with satin silver or satin aluminum steering wheel bezels. Explorer offers choices with a Hybrid model: RWD or 4WD configuration. The rear-wheel drive architecture offers an excellent balance of performance and capability, providing customers the choice of the standard 2.3L EcoBoost I‑4 engine, available 3.0L EcoBoost V6 or 3.3L Hybrid V6 powertrain and up to 5,600 lbs. of maximum towing capacity.
